Halloween is over rated. I am not sure what it is all about. However, I am a sell out and here is a shot of the oh so wonderful fake pumpkin.

Whilst clearing out my Grandad’s house, one of his great grand-kids came by… mainly to look at the fish and have a cheeky grin.

Whilst we were clearing out my Grandad’s house, Mum gave Dad a little kiss – I think in these situations actions usually speak louder than words.

50mm

50mm
When I first got into photography (three and a half years ago), I thought zoom was the cool thing. Some photographers learn that it isn’t. This is my 50mm f/1.8 – shot using my 90mm f/2.8 and new SB-800 flash gun. There is something magical about shooting primes, and they are sharp as shit. Next on my really want list is a wide prime… probably the 24mm f/1.8 Sigma (as Nikon’s range is looking quite lacklustre at the moment).
