So far, so good. Domino’s first day has mainly been sleep filled. He moved to the cat gym, attacked a mouse for all of thirty seconds and then fell asleep. I want to be a cat.
As TV is going to be ruined for days to come by the Royal Wedding, figured I may as well post a Union Flag photo. So here is one.
I am pretty sure this is a Gorse Shieldbug (the species look very similar) so, assuming it is.. it has two adult colour forms which are related to sexual maturity. Those emerging and mating in the spring are predominantly green, whereas the new generation appearing in the late summer have purple-red markings on the pronotum and corium. Seen at Hole Park, Kent.
The Police Station at Bulls, New Zealand. The whole town has bull-related murals. Go there and love the bulls. Mmmmmm bulls.
The Common Darter (Sympetrum striolatum) is a dragonfly of the family Libellulidae native to Eurasia. It is one of the most common dragonflies in Europe, occurring in a wide variety of water bodies, though with a preference for breeding in still water such as ponds and lakes.
Baking hot day. Mum and Dad came up to meet Kato. He slept for pretty much the full length of their visit. Went for a coffee, came back, played with Kato. He slept. I slept. He got in the washing machine. Not a bad Easter Saturday all in all.
