Sunday Roast

The general consensus regarding dinner today was some sort of roast potato. So, I picked some Rosemary from the BBQ herb garden and whacked it in with some potatoes, parsnips and garlic. I used Hemp Oil in the roasting dish. I had some GoodLife Glamorgan Sausages kicking around the freezer so they got thrown in the mx. It all came out rather nicely. For pudding, the Missus has cooked up some (Vegan) Peanut Butter cup cakes – they went very well with some Soya Ice Cream. Vegan Roasts rock!

Visitors From Down Under

Family tree research can be a very rewarding experience.

To cut a long story short, after much investigation done by my Aunt, Uncle and Cousin, contact was made with some wonderful people (Rod and Margaret) who knew my Great-Grandfather - he emigrated to Australia back in the 1950s. He had lost touch with my Nan, so it has been a very enriching experience to speak to people that can tell us about his life Down Under and how he had tried to find the children he was, unfortunately, never to see again.

Anyway, we all braved another English Summer evening in the garden at Mum and Dad’s… here are some photos…. It also coincided with a birthday… so Happy Birthday again Rod!

Snoozy

Awwwwww. Gorgeous bugger.

Marmite Boy!

Decided to see if Domino likes Marmite. It would appear so…

The first tentative sniff did result in a sticky nose, but he soon cleared it up.

Post-Marmite bliss face!

Too Hot To Move

Sometimes it is just too hot to do anything. The only thing to do when covered in fur, is to flake out in the garage/gym… making it look like you just had a big weights workout.

Some nice fang action…
