Visited a fund-raising festival at the FRIEND Animal Rescue Sanctuary in East Peckham yesterday. I took a lot of photographs, mainly of the gorgeous inhabitants, so I shall post them here in batches. The second batch has a decidedly piggy feel…
It was great to see Ruby & Scarlet out and about, totally chilled, doing what Piglets love to do – stick their snouts into everything.

Pigs do love their mud.

Of course, others love the shade on a hot day…

First up is a great old girl called Gurtie who very much enjoyed a cold shower on a very warm afternoon.

Check out their site and the great work they do. Give a donation if you can – they are not just after money – they constantly need building materials, food etc.
Had a really nice night at James and Laura’s Evening Reception. I took a load of photos so will sort them out in due course for them, but couldn’t resist posting these.
Big congratulations to the happy couple.

The Olympic Torch (finally) hit Folkestone today, and right by the office, which was handy. Here are some snaps…

With events of this kind come the sellers of crap…

The Police Bikers did high fives with the spectators. Dangerous if you ask me.

Folkestone needs more green tights.

Unfortunately I can’t work out who this guy is. The BBC site has a list of torch-bearers but, well, I can’t see him. I hope he was genuinely supposed to be there.

Some people loved it. Some hated it. Whatever your feelings, it was a one-off for my lifetime.. probably. All things considered, it was a pleasant distraction from work for a little while.
