
A black-headed gull in Norfolk at Africa Alive, which isn’t all that African, but was close by during lunch… no shock there – gulls excel at lunchtime loitering. Africa Alive is worth a visit though – the lion from two days ago was taken there. They also have giraffes and everyone loves those crazy long-necked freaks.

I am reminded of a Cartier-Bresson quote that seems to sum up her approach to photography rather well…
‘Actually, I’m not all that interested in the subject of photography. Once the picture is in the box, I’m not all that interested in what happens next. Hunters, after all, aren’t cooks.’
