It has been a lean period for photo taking for me in the last couple of weeks. I decided not to take my camera to the work Xmas Do and got drunk instead. After recovering from the hangover I started feeling ill – again. I have been coughing on and off since my last cold and I think the chest infection just decided to come back with a vengeance and I was a wheezing wreck for 3 days. Drugs. You gotta love \’em.

Tis pleasing to see that the 18-200 VR is quite nice for portraits… especially Eskimo-themed ones.

More snow action from the wilds of Bearsted.

We had some snow recently – for about an hour – so we went for a wander and it gave me a chance to try out the Nikkor 18-200mm VR we got recently. Bit too much zoom for me. Too much to think about. Give me prime.

I think this was taken at Hell\’s Mouth, Cornwall. I am not entirely sure as one bit looks rather like another after a while.
