Another shot from the Sky Tower, Auckland, looking towards the Auckland Museum (top of frame).

It is the dream of zinbiel and I to breed these one day and have them roaming free in Hythe Canal or Brockhill Country Park.

Shot a little while ago, the Bluebell doesn\’t hang around for long, so you gotta be quick. I mean, not quick like it\’s an insect or something, quick as in, well you got a couple of weeks to find them before the die.

It is nice to be able to shoot people sometimes and especially nice to shoot ones that don\’t mind being shot
This image is called \’1\’ as it was the little fella\’s first birthday and christening. This was shot in the church using only natural light… I think he was pleased that someone was actually avoiding using flash. The Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 is made for this sort of thing. His twin (non-identical) to follow in a few days.

The Cook Strait lies between the North and South Islands of New Zealand. On its north side stands the city of Wellington; on the south side lie the Marlborough Sounds and Cloudy Bay. This was shot on the evening of the wedding we were attending – third day in NZ and a gorge sunset, couldn\’t ask for more than that.
