If you have a cat, buy Da Bird. It is an amazing toy – simple but so effective. I bought mine from Purrs In Our Hearts. Basically this photo shows what can happen – Domino started wired, went through manic, to panting, to asleep. Perfect result. Incidentally, all shot at iso2000 – I love the D7000.

Now that is a cute photo.

My new camera arrived at 08:30 this morning. After a frustrating wait for the battery to charge, I stuck the 50mm on and revelled in the high ISO smoothness. I can confirm that Domino looks cool in 16 megapixels.
