Part of Auckland, shot from the Sky Tower… of course it might just be a model village…

From Wikipedia: \’Contrails are condensation trails (sometimes vapour trails): artificial cirrus clouds made by the exhaust of aircraft engines or wingtip vortices which precipitate a stream of tiny ice crystals in moist, frigid upper air. Contrary to appearances, they are not air pollution as such, though might be considered visual pollution.\’
Anyway, I was inspired by Jarrett Gorin\’s uber minimal contrail shot, so I did my own, in Hythe no less, not Goleta where they appear to have skies like this one all year round.

The title says it all to be honest. I am not entirely sure where this was taken, but I feel confident I was near Sandwich. I can neither confirm nor deny if I was actually driving and being naughty by taking this photo.
