This is the only Turkey we had on Xmas Day! A funky, cool and thoughtful wedding present…

What do Gadget Geeks buy with their wedding gift money? Well, sofas first, but with the leftovers they buy gadgets! We have wanted something to play music on in the living room for a while now as my Marantz amp is getting old and the speakers are just too big for the space. So, after testing nearly every decent iPod dock out there, there was a clear winner… The¬†Beatbox by Dr Dre. It sounds amazing. The bass is truly earth shattering for a non-hifi system. Chillin’ to the Prodigy whilst I write this post. It will do nicely. Sexola to look at too…

Happy Star Wars Day 2011!

Happy Star Wars Day 2011!
This R2 unit was saved from destruction at the Folkestone dump. I can’t believe someone would throw this out. He still has a functioning squeaker too! Happy Star Wars Day! May the 4th Be With You.

A bauble on Mum’s Christmas tree.

Longleat Lioness Number Two

Longleat Lioness Number Two
Lions really are quite lush. I still think I would prefer a crash of rhinos walking about my mansion grounds if I won the lottery to Lions, but they have a certain charm. Of course, I am allergic to cats so the rhinos would be a more sensible choice.

Scales

Scales
I have no idea why these scales are on the pier at Great Yarmouth. They have two sets in fact. I guess it must be to weigh yourself after all the crap food they offer, like chips and donuts.

River Pirate

River Pirate
Maidstone is not all that well known for river piracy, tho it does appear some still goes on.

Locked Up

Locked Up
OK, so I have a fascination with feet, contrails, seagulls, bugs and now padlocks.

Under the Speed Limit

Under the Speed Limit
The dashboard of my mate’s Lexus, proving that he drives responsibly. This was on the motorway, not in a 30mph zone :-)

Shade

Shade
I don’t have much to say about this one, apart from the fact that it is a leaf on a tree in a forest… near Aldington, Kent, UK.
